And Now We Pause for a Celebration

A moment in time, in the midwinter solstice, a time for reflection, for gathering, for love and remembering. Whether you're celebrating Christmas (or hiding from it, as some of my friends do...), Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or Festivus for the rest of us, I wish you peace and joy and all the peppermint bark you can eat. May you laugh eggnog out of your nose at least once during the fest, little known cold-busting treatment, beats the hell out of that nasty zinc shite. May you possess the joy of giving as well the contentment of doing the most with what you have been given. May your burdens be eased for a while, may your dreams be sweet and your naps long. At some point, light candles, at another, take a bubble bath. Okay, this is getting past holiday wishes and on to a list of demands. Oh, make her stop! My point: happy day to you and yours, good thoughts and white light. And a partridge in a pear treeeeeee.
