I am a fool for online quizzes. I loved magazine quizzes before that... used to look forward to monthly check-ups and check-ins to see where I stood on a variety of barometers -- How Sexy is Your Left Elbow? Should You Love Your Man or Leave Him? What is Your Eyelash Eye-Q? Ah yeah, good times. The boxes I checked, the letters I chose, the scores that I tallied, all searching for my peer group, which box DID I fit in, sort of? And why was it so important that I should have an Eyelash Eye-Q? (This particular knowledge would be handy, based on my recent entanglement with the eyebrow trimmer, come to think of it...)
Anyway, I love love them, can't stop myself. I found this one on Angelika's blog, and of course immediately raced to the source to see, after years of shoe obsession, which wonderful footwear would I be likened to? A stiletto heel red sparkly dance shoe? A cowboy boot? (Angelika is a cowboy boot, so it must be cool...)
No. Shoe lover that I am, I was aghast to find out I am Bare Feet. I was deflated de-feeted (sorry, another thing I can't help myself about). I thought, oh no, please don't tell my husband. I've convinced him that I need and deserve each and every one of the pairs in my closet and even the ones bleeding over to his closet. Dern. But then I really read the things the quizmeister said about Bare Feet. Free spirit, check. Comfortable in own skin, all right. Open, accepting, in charge, Hey, I resemble that remark. I can deal. I still wish I could have at least been a peep toe kitten heel patent, fercryingoutloud. I'll just have to resolve to be Bare Feet with do-me scarlet red toenails. That would work for me.
Well, go find out what kind of shoe you are, and report back. May some of you get sparkly dance shoes and cowboy boots, and remember your poor naked bare foot friend, me. Do-me scarlet red toenail polish with glitter, even.
