GUESS where we were for the 5:30 showing yesterday? Yep, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. It was a rollicking romp, although I did have a few teeny suspension of disbelief issues; it was fun and interesting to see Cate Blanchett as serious Evil Dragon Woman. Shia LaBouef channeled young Brando, and oh yeah, Karen Allen proved she is most certainly alive and well. Then there was Harrison Ford. If I start, the gushing will go on way past acceptable levels for a woman of my maturity. Heh.
On the Maxwell disappears into the rest room during the scary parts scale, we had four trips, so it was moderately scary for him, but I think he just gets chicken when John Williams wants him to.
Anyway, this is the sight that greeted me in the laundry room, shortly after bath time. The straw cowboy hat has become a brown fedora (squint, it works,) and the orange dart gun was a nice touch. Why he accessorized with my crazy readers is a mystery only Louisiana Maxwell can solve... :)
